(Spencer)– A Spencer woman was arrested back on March 20th after a Clay county deputy reported smelling marijuana as he approached a residence at 3115 West 4th Street in Spencer to serve civil papers. 37-year-old Ashley Feather was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released on bond.
In a separate incident, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop Friday in the 1300 mile of Highway 18 resulted in the arrest of a Spencer man on drug charges. Authorities say a deputy could smell marijuana as he approached the vehicle. 26-year-old Jesse Woock was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…2nd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to yield half of the roadway. He was later released on bond.
