March 22, 2023 Steve Schwaller

(Primghar)– The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever’s responsible in a suspicious fire last month that destroyed a house near Primghar has been increased to $1,500.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says there was no power going to the residence at 3730 Roosevelt Avenue and that they believe the fire may have been intentionally set. Authorities were notified of the fire around 2:30 am on February 10th. The house, which was vacant, was completely engulfed.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
