(Windom, Mn.)– Most major highways in southwest Minnesota that were closed since Thursday evening due to poor visibility and crashes were re-opened as of 9:00 am this (Friday) morning. However, officials say travel conditions in most of southwest Minnesota remains hazardous. Most roads are ice-covered with still some ground drifting going on in some locations.
Several schools in southwest Minnesota wound up calling off classes for the day today (Fri.).
