(Jackson, Mn.)– The Jackson City Council this week reviewed a quote from a Wisconsin company to do an evaluation of the city’s swimming pool. The $54,000 price has at least one council member asking for more quotes…
“With the price tag on this, just to do what they’re doing and the scope of work, it would be nice to get an estimate from at least one or two more companies and see what the cost is of that. I’m not saying they’re out of line, but this is a pretty heavy price tag. And I get that it’s a pretty extensive scope of work. And it would be nice to have three proposals and run it past the task force to make a recommendation back to the council and to the school board.”
The council directed City Administrator Matt Skaret to gather additional quotes and report back with his findings.
