(Spirit Lake)– The Northwest Iowa Workforce Development Board is being dismantled. The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors today (Tues.) adopted a resolution to dissolve the county’s involvement in a 28E agreement that formed the organization several years ago. Thee says a possible realignment with the North Central Iowa Regional Workforce Development didn’t appear to be a favorable option. He says Iowa Workforce Development will continue to serve clients in the region as in the past even with the regional agency now being defunct.
