(Spencer)– A traffic stop back on February 15th in the 3200 mile of Highway 71 in Clay county resulted in multiple charges against a Spencer teen.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old female and smelled marijuana coming from it as he approached. A marijuana pipe was recovered and the juvenile was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle turned up marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The 16-year-old was cited in juvenile court for possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released to the custody of a parent.
