(Round Lake, Mn.)– Voters Tuesday in the Round Lake-Brewster Community School District approved a $30.48 million dollar referendum to demolish a building that’s more than 100 years old and is crumbling.
A new addition with 20 classrooms, a new gym, library, media center and improved student pickup and drop off areas will be included.
Unofficial results show 219 voted in favor of the referendum Tuesday while 181 were opposed. A similar measure in August of last year failed by seven votes.
