(Windom, Mn.)– The search is on for a southwest Minnesota man charged with murder. Police in Windom say 58-year-old Ralph Leslie Apman posted bail after being charged in a homicide case but failed to appear in court Monday for his trial, which was ongoing in Cottonwood county. Authorities say Apman is believed to be armed with a 9mm handgun and an AR-15 rifle. Investigators believe he may be in the Twin Cities Metro Area.
Apman has a warrant for 2nd degree homicide and failure to appear for a jury trial.
Apman is described as being 5’10” tall weighing 230 pounds with hazel eyes and is bald. No vehicle information was available.
Authorities say anyone who sees Apman should not approach him and call 911.
