(Spencer)– One area school district plans to use professional development days to make up for class time lost because of inclement weather so far this winter.
Students in the Spencer Community School District will now be attending full days of classes on February 21st, April 17th, May 26th and May 30th, with the last day of school now set for Wednesday, May 31st with an early dismissal of 12:30 pm.
District officials say to date there have been seven full days of no school due to snow, in addition to a number of late starts and early dismissals because of inclement weather.
