(Spirit Lake)– The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has some important reminders for operators of snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles and utility vehicles this Winter Games Weekend.
For one thing, officials say it’s illegal to operate them at Elinor Bedell State Park. Anyone that gets caught will be subject to a fine of at least $100.
They add it’s important also to make sure registrations and user permits are current, and to not drink and drive.
