(Spencer)– A single vehicle crash this past Wednesday in Clay county injured a Milford man.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 75-year-old Dennis Abel was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado northbound in the 2700 mile of Highway 71. Deputies say the strong wind and icy road conditions caused Abel to lose control of the vehicle, which went into the median. It then hit some hard packed snow and flipped.
Abel was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital.
The crash took place around 3:00 pm.
