(Spencer)– An inmate at the Clay county jail is accused of assaulting a correctional officer.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the jail a little after 7:00 pm in the evening of January 14th after getting a report of a disturbance. 36-year-old Sarah Kunath, an inmate, is accused of spitting on a correctional officer who was assisting the deputy during the disturbance.
Kunath was charged with assault on a peace officer.
