(Arnolds Park)-The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber is reminding residents and visitors during The University of Okoboji Winter Games of the importance of registration and insurance for snowmobiles and ATVs.
Events and Membership Director Kylie Zankowski says rules vary by city, and that an informational page has been created on the U of O Winter Games website to help operators understand the regulations.
“It’s definitely important for people near and far that are coming for The Games to make sure that they have all the right rules and regulations under their belt for ATV and UTV usage. There are different rules and regulations in the different cities on where they can be operated, so we just really encourage people to head over to our website where we have a full list with links and information at uofowintergames.com and then you can head to information and click right there to get ATV, UTV and even cab information, as well.”
The University of Okoboji Winter Games will be held January 26-29
