(Spirit Lake)– Camp Foster YMCA has been awarded a Strengthening Communities Grant of nearly $79,000 through the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.
The funding will help cover the cost of constructing a visitor center at Camp Foster and to refurbish an existing building into a health lodge.
The Strengthening Communities grants are made possible by an appropriation from the Iowa Legislature through the Rebuild Iowa Infrastructure Fund.
