Disturbance Investigation Results In Arrest Of Dickens Man

(Spencer)– An investigation into a disturbance January 4th in Dickens resulted in the arrest of a man on multiple charges.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called a little after 8:00 am that morning to a residence on East Street in Dickens. An investigation resulted in a deputy discovering the suspect, 38-year-old Jeffery Cadwell of Dickens, had driven to the residence while having a suspended drivers license. Cadwell was arrested and a subsequent search resulted in authorities finding methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Cadwell was booked into the Clay county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
