(Lakefield, Mn.)– Multiple injuries were reported in a single vehicle crash Tuesday on Interstate 90 near Lakefield.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 38-year-old Mendoza Magana of Granada, Minnesota lost control of a 2005 Jeep Liberty while traveling eastbound on the snow and ice covered road. The vehicle then rolled.
Mendoza Magana and several passengers including 67-year-old Anarbol Magana of Pasco, Washington, 37-year-old Mary Magana of Granada, Minnesota, and a 17-year-old from Lakefield, were all taken to the Jackson Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Another passenger, 54-year-old Raymond Rosales, who’s hometown wasn’t available, was seriously injured and was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.
The crash took place a little before 3:30 pm.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Lakefield Fire and Rescue and a towing service assisted on the scene.
