(Spencer)– Efforts are underway this (Saturday) morning to reopen roads throughout the region, but officials say it’s going to be a slow and tedious process. Officials say there are numerous semis and other vehicles that need to be moved out of the way in order for D.O.T plows and snow blowers to do their job. That’s especially the case on Highway 71 between Spencer and the Dickinson county line.
Officials say many roads that ARE open have areas of just one lane of travel.
