Ice, Snow Likely To Impact Region Thursday & Thursday Night

December 07, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Undated)– Some wintry weather appears headed our way Thursday into Thursday night, with the potential for some ice at the onset, followed by what could be up to several inches of snow.

The National Weather Service says temperatures during the day Thursday will be such that precipitation will likely fall in the form of freezing rain at the onset, before changing entirely to snow later in the afternoon. Snowfall is expected to continue Thursday night before ending very late. Amounts could be in the range of 3 to 5 inches. Those with travel plans Thursday and Thursday night should keep up to date with later forecasts.

Forecasters say another potentially significant storm could impact the region early next week.
