(Primghar)– A single vehicle crash a little after 7:00 am Monday in O’Brien county sent one person to the hospital.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Tyson Cook of Hartley was driving a 1995 Chevrolet pickup southbound in the 4100 mile of Vine Avenue, north of Sutherland. Deputies say Cook lost control of the vehicle on the snow covered road. It traveled into the west ditch and rolled coming to rest up against a culvert.
Cook and a passenger, 20-year-old Bryce Cook of Sioux City, were extricated from the vehicle by non-mechanical means. Bryce Cook sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Primghar hospital. The vehicle was totaled.
