OHS Drama Dept. Presents Peter Pan, The Musical

(Milford)– The Okoboji High School Drama Department will present Peter Pan, The Musical, this weekend. Co-Director Jo Gehrke says it’s a big production…

“There are roughly 45 kiddos involved including six that are in the cast, six that are involved in the crew helping behind the scenes, lighting, sound, working out the set pieces, moving things on and off, running different tech equipment and stuff for the show. And then we also have six that are involved in the pit so they are playing instruments accompanying the people that are on the stage.”

She notes that the performance will be held at the Pearson Lakes Art Center…

“Okoboji High School is currently undergoing some upgrades that were desperately needed so we are very, very, happy that is going to be happening but currently we are not able to be in the auditorium, they are still kind of finishing up those last minute touches. The Pearson Lakes Art Center has been so gracious to allow us to use their space. They have just been amazing through this entire process.”

Show times are this (Fri.) evening and tomorrow (Sat.) evening at 7:00 pm and Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Tickets are available at the door.
