(Worthington, Mn.)– Another reminder to the danger deer pose on the roadways this time of the year. The Minnesota State Patrol says 30-year-old Luis Lopez of Worthington was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze and 59-year-old Ana Alcantar of Rushmore, Minnesota was driving a 2017 Toyota RAV 4 southbound on Minnesota Highway 91 Friday when the two collided while trying to avoid hitting a deer.
Alcantar was injured in the mishap and was taken to Sanford Health in Worthington.
