Week Of Events Planned For Nobles County Heritage Center

November 04, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Worthington, Mn.)– The Nobles County Historical Society will see a big event coming up next week from Monday through Saturday (Nov. 7th-12th), with the opening of the Nobles County Heritage Center in the historic Worthington Armory, also coinciding with the 100th birthday of the armory itself. Beth Rickers with the Historical Society says there will be a lot of fun for people of all ages…

“For the past several years we have been remodeling the 100-year-old Worthington armory building into a new heritage center museum for Nobles county and this is kind of the culmination of that. We still have a little work to be done yet but we’re going ahead with the grand opening and we’re going to have a full week of events next week starting on Monday with some programs and continuing through the week and culminating Saturday, November 12th with a grand opening and 100 year gala celebration.”

The events will include everything from live music to food trucks to a look at history both in the armory and the region, and even a Veteran’s Day celebration.
