(Gillett Grove)– A Linn Grove woman was injured Saturday when a vehicle she was driving collided with a utility pole, breaking it in half.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 58-year-old Barbara Carroll was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Cruz when she failed to negotiate a curve in the area of 270th Avenue and 435th Street west of Gillett Grove.
Carroll was taken to Spencer Hospital by ambulance with possible incapacitating injuries.
The crash took place a little before 5:00 pm.
