(Sheldon)– A crash Friday in O’Brien county seriously injured a Hull woman.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Jewell Flores of Hull was driving a 2004 Honda Civic westbound in the 4800 mile of 400th Street. Deputies say Flores was following her ex-boyfriend and was traveling at a high rate of speed. Deputies say cell phone video taken by a witness shows the vehicle driven by Flores suddenly veered to the left and went into the south ditch where it rolled four times.
Flores was transported by air to a Sioxu Falls hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle was totaled.
The crash took place a little before 10:00 am Friday. Authorities say it remains under investigation.
