(Estherville)– Amended charges have been filed against one of two teens accused in the death of an Estherville man.
19-year-old Connor Uhde was originally charged with 1st degree murder in the death of 20-year-old David McDowell of Estherville, who’s body was found along a rural Emmet county road in early October, 2021. Online court records show the charge against Uhde has been revised to one count each of attempted murder and third degree kidnapping. He was scheduled to go on trial next week.
Another suspect in McDowell’s death, CeJay Van Der Wilt, is scheduled to go on trial for 1st degree murder October 25th.
