(Spirit Lake)-Several No School Camps are being offered for area students. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Iowa Lakeside Laboratory and ISU Extension and Outeach of Dickinson County have partnered to provide No School Camps this fall.
Extension K-12 Educator Hannah Dibble says, a number of camps are offered. “We have super fun, creepy, crawly camp themes, and it doesn’t matter what school you go to or if you have elementary aged children who are homeschooled, we have 4 dates available that fall on no school dates for every school within Dickinson County and a special date for youth who are homeschooled. So, the October 28th, Terril and Harris-Lake Park no school day is one option, as well as November 1st for homeschool friends. November 7th, we’ll host youth from Okoboji on their no school day, and November 11th we’ll host youth on the Spirit Lake no school day.”
She notes that the camps will all take place at Lakeside Lab. “We will be enjoying the Lakeside Lab Campus and all of the fall color it has to offer.”
