(Spirit Lake)– The execution of an arrest warrant by Spirit Lake police has resulted in drug charges being filed against an Estherville woman.
37-year-old Tanya Moffitt of Estherville was arrested shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday in Spirit Lake.
Upon further investigation Moffitt was found to be in possession of what’s alleged to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Moffitt was booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…third offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; and prohibited acts.
Authorities say additional charges are pending.
The Spirit Lake Police Department was assisted in its investigation by the Estherville Police Department.
