(Spirit Lake)– If you plan to vote in the November 6th city elections and you’re not already registered, you need to do so soon. The Secretary of State’s office says you have until 5:00 p.m. Friday in which to do that.
County Auditor offices in Iowa usually close at 4:30 p.m. But they’ll be open an additional half-hour Friday to accomodate last minute registrations.
Auditor’s offices have also started taking requests for absentee ballots.
