Single Vehicle Crash Injures Teen

(Fairmont, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash over the weekend injured a Fairmont, Minnesota teen.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 18-year-old Dylan Klug of Fairmont was driving a 1999 Buick Regal southbound on Highway 15 when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle crossed the center line, left the road and struck a mailbox.

Klug was taken by ambulance to the Fairmont hospital where he was treated for a minor injury and released.

Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.

The crash took place shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Fairmont Police Department and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
