(George)– A search warrant executed on a residence in George Thursday resulted in the arrest of a man on drug charges.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Troy Esser of George was charged with possession of a controlled substance…prescription pills; prohibited acts…possession with intent to distribute marijuana; no drug tax stamp; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In addition, authorities say Esser was also wanted on a Lyon county warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
He was placed under arrest and was booked into the Lyon county jail.
Authorities seized 11 ounces of what’s alleged to be marijuana during Thursday’s search, along with numerous prescription pills.
The search took place at 509 East Michigan in George. Deputies say Esser had been a tennant at that residence.
