(Spirit Lake)– Two people were injured Tuesday evening in a pick-up/motorcycle accident in downtown Spirit Lake.
Police say the collision involved a pickup driven by 52-year-old Joyce Miller of Spirit Lake and a motorcycle driven by 40-year-old Sue Laue of Spirit Lake. Laue and a passenger, 33-year-old Jonna Langfeld of Arnolds Park, were taken by ambulance to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital with leg injuries. No injuries were reported to Miller.
Authorities say Laue was traveling west on Highways 9 and 71 and Miller was turning left from the highway onto Hill Avenue when the two collided.
The mishap, which remains under investigation, took place around 5:20 p.m.
