Parks & Rec. Committee In Spirit Lake May Be A Thing Of The Past

(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake city council is thinking about doing away with its Parks and Recreation Committee.

The council earlier this week set August 28th as the date for a public hearing on a proposal to eliminate the committee.

City Administrator Pete Hegeman says there’s been no activity from the committee for some time.
