(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously today to put up 50-thousand dollars over five years in matching funds to support Lake Park’s application for a Vision Iowa grant for a joint school/city project. The action is contingent on the grant approved.
The county had originally been requested to provide 100-thousand dollars over five years…but opted for the lower amount.
Supervisor David Gottsche said now that the board’s approved that request, it’s time to reconsider a request for funding from the Lakes Area Extrication Unit.
