(Sioux City)– Three northwest Iowans have been named in a federal indictment on methamphetamine charges.
43-year-old Stacy Pomerenke and 38-year-old Todd Sorensen…both of Hartley; and 41-year-old Todd Pritchard of Sioux Rapids have been charged in U-S District Court with conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine. Sorensen was also charged with one count of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana. Pomerenke was charged with one additional count of distribution of methamphetamine, one count of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana, one count of possession of a firearm in connection with drug crimes and one count of being an unlawful user of methamphetamine and marijuana in possession of a firearm.
The case was investigated by the O’Brien and Clay county sheriff’s offices, Hartley Police Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
