(Primghar)– A two vehicle accident today in O’Brien county has claimed the life of a Colorado woman.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s office says 42-year-old Bruce Tabke of Marcus was northbound and 36-year-old Dawn Maris of Paullina was eastbound when the two collided in an intersection two miles southwest of Paullina.
59-year-old Brenda Joyce Hoth of Greeley, Colorado, a passenger in a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Maris, was taken by ambulance to the Orange City Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Maris was taken by ambulance to the Orange City hospital where she was treated and released. 40-year-old Dale Miller of Marcus, a passenger in a 2000 Dodge pickup driven by Tabke, was taken by ambulance to Baum Harmon Hospital in Primghar where he was treated and released.
The mishap took place around 10:20 this morning.
It remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol and the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
