(Spencer)– The ban on air travel isn’t limited to just international airports. It also pertains to small municipal airports such as those in Estherville, Okoboji, Milford, and Spencer.
Dickinson County Emergency Management Coordinator Tim Kinnetz tells KUOO news law enforcement officers have been standing by at local airports to make sure no planes take off or land.
Kinnetz says there were no re-routed landings at either Dickinson county airport and the planes that did take off locally Tuesday were able to land at their intended destinations.
