Hundreds Attend Memorial Service In Arnolds Park

November 23, 2014

(Arnolds Park)– A crowd of several hundred people attended a memorial service last evening at the Roof Garden in Arnolds Park to remember those who either died or are missing as a result of last week’s terrorist attacks.

Among those addressing the gathering was pastor Tim Brown who called on everyone to stand firm and continue on with our lives. Not doing that, he says, plays into the hands of the terrorists. And, Brown says, by letting terrorism and threats of it control our lives, that those who lost their lives a week ago Tuesday will have done so in vain.

Retired Brigadier General Allen Smith also addressed the gathering…saying America has risen from challenging times in the past and will do so again.
