(Spencer)– Vendors at this year’s Clay County Fair pledged more than 50-thousand dollars to the regional events center project.
Most of the contributions came from out-of-town vendors.
The campaign goal is to raise atleast one and-a-half million of the 3.8 million dollars needed to cover the entire project.
The regional events center will contain about 50-thousand square feet of meeting and exhibit space that will be available on a year-round basis. The project will also include a rennovated commercial building and other amenities.
