(Sioux City)– A Spencer man has been sentenced in U-S District Court on drug and weapons charges.
29-year-old Stewart Lee Van Maasdam, Junior pleaded guilty on May 30th of this year to two firearms charges–possession of a firearm by an unlawful user of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a felon.
He was sentenced to 77 imprisonment on each count to be served concurrently and three years of supervised release. A special assessment of 200-dollars was also imposed.
Van Maasdam was released on bond previously set and is to surrender to the federal bureau of prisons at a future date.
