Farmland Values Increase Again

November 23, 2014

(Undated)– For the second year in a row, Iowa farmland values have increased.

According to Iowa State University, values were up 3.7 percent this year…to an average of 1,926-dollars an acre.

Values were up in all 99 counties. In four counties, they were up almost seven percent.

Farmland values in several northwest Iowa counties saw less of an increase. In Dickinson, Lyon, O’Brien and Osceola counties they were up only by one percent.
