(Okoboji)– More than 250 people cruised the Queen Two on West Lake Okoboji Christmas Eve.
It was the first time ever the excursions were offered on Christmas Eve…for the simple reason that this year, there was no ice on the lake.
Passengers paid 50-dollars each with the proceeds going to the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum. More than 13-thousand dollars was raised.
Hundreds of people lined various areas of the shoreline to see and photograph the Queen Two as she made her Christmas Eve voyages decked out with 10-thousand red, white and blue lights.
