(Milford)– The Okoboji school board wants to open dialogue with neighboring districts over the possibility of sharing some programs in light of state budget cuts. The school board Monday decided to send letters to neighboring districts to see what kind of interest there is.
Okoboji Superintendent Quentin Reifenrath says they aren’t looking at whole-grade-sharing.
Reifenrath says it only makes sense to explore what might be out there as districts are forced to slash their budgets.
