(Primghar)– Another arrest has been made in an O’Brien county drug case.
Authorities say 27-year-old Cristin Van Oort of Sanborn was arrested on warrants Tuesday by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office. Van Oort was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, a drug tax stamp violation, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, prohibited acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Van Oort was booked into the O’Brien county jail. She has since been released after posting bond of 32-thousand dollars.
Two others, 32-year-old Steven James Van Oort of Sanborn and another man, 25-year-old Matthew Dale Muilenberg of Orange City, were charged in the same case.
The arrests are the result of a search warrant executed December 6th on a rural Sanborn residence. Clay and O’Brien county sheriff’s deputies seized over five ounces of marijuana, about three-quarters-of-an-ounce of methamphetamine along with cash and drug paraphernalia.
