(Spirit Lake)– Contract talks between Dickinson County Memorial Hospital and the association that represents many of its nurses get under way next week.
The first round of talks is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18th in the hospital’s private dining room. The session is open to the public.
The Dickinson County Memorial Hospital Nurses Association is represented by the Iowa Nurses Association.
About 100 registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants at DCMH belong to the association.
The talks will address wages, benefits and other issues.
The new contract is to take effect July 1st, 2002.
