(Spencer)– Theft charges have been filed against a Minneapolis man accused of fraudulently receiving refunds from several Spencer businesses.
Police say 41-year-old Daniel Flies was arrested Tuesday and charged with several counts of theft in the fourth degree and one count of theft in the fifth degree.
Flies is accused of returning merchandise he never purchased from Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee and Super Value in Spencer.
Flies is being held in the Clay county jail on bond of 6,175-dollars.
