(Ashton)– An Aston man has been charged in connection with a search conducted early this (Sat.) morning on a residence at 425 Fourth Street in Ashton.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says drug paraphernalia, marijuana and over five grams of methamphetamine were seized…along with a small caliber handgun and about a thousand dollars in cash.
Kevin Silvernail of Ashton was arrested and charged with one count of possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine with intent to manufacture or deliver; and one count of a felon in possession of a firearm.
Silvernail is being held in the Osceola County Jail on bond of 141,700-dollars.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted in the investigation by the O’Brien and Clay County Sheriff’s offices.
Authorities say additional charges are pending.
