(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake’s city limits are expanding again. The city council Tuesday adopted a resolution officially annexing land along Highway 71 from the present south city limits. It includes the Aardvark property, land where a new YMCA is proposed to be built and a farm on the east side of the highway owned by Ramon Resch.
The council took the action following a public hearing that drew no oral comments. The city did receive written correspondance though from Clay Regional Water.
