(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake City Council Tuesday discussed plans for the former Lakeview Trailer Court the city recently purchased.
There was a concensus among council members to keep the lakeshore land on the east side of Hill Avenue as green space. Council members also want the city to retain ownership…for now atleast…of the land on the west side of Hill Avenue. However, several feel the city should eventually sell that land to a developer for a residential development. A portion of the lakefront property may then be converted to a private access.
