(Primghar)– A man wanted on an Arkansas felony warrant was captured Wednesday evening in O’Brien county.
Mickey Combs was wanted for escape from Cross county, Arkansas.
O’Brien County Sheriff Michael Anderson says they received information indicating that Combs was at 380 Hayes Avenue in Primghar. A deputy attempted to serve a warrant on Combs at that address…but he resisted arrest and fled. Anderson says officers searched the Primghar area and around 10:50 p.m. found Combs hiding in an upstairs bedroom at 520 South Hayes Avenue in Primghar. Combs was taken into custody following a brief struggle. He’s being held at the O’Brien County Jail pending extradition back to Arkansas.
Anderson says charges are pending against Combs in O’Brien county for escape from custody.
Anderson says the investigation continues and charges may be filed against another person for harboring a fugitive.
