(Spirit Lake)– Construction projects at the Spirit Lake Elementary and High Schools continue to progress on schedule. As a matter of fact, Superintendent Dr. Tim Grieves says the elementary project is actually starting to wind down. A sky-light and windows still need to be installed along with the flooring and utility work. Grieves says they plan to occupy the new area in the middle of February. The project is coming in under budget.
Work continues on the high school expansion as well. That project is running about 200,000 to 300,000-dollars over budget because of additional foundation work that was required. Masonry work is getting underway on that project. It’s scheduled for completion late next summer.
